Did not have a good experience at all two years ago. We were told that our 8 year old dog should have all her teeth removed and also a questionable tumor on her neck all at the same time???? Quite an expensive quote as you can imagine, not to mention the trama for our beloved pet if we went through with it. The tumor was highly suspectful of being cancer. It didn't sound right to us at all. Sought a second opinion from High Country Vet. They were extremely caring and compassionate and guided us through this difficult situation.
KAH did the most heroic type of heroics to help a displaced soul. It was discovered that a cat, the Infamous Mr. B, had taken up residence in my backyard after a rough month or more of being on the lam like the fugitive. When I called to ask on how best to trap him (I thought he was a feral) to take him in for care, the amazing staff knew who he was, and came out to get him in for care, safe and secure. I know without a doubt they will treat your pet with love and care. They truly go the extra mile.
I have lived here my entire life and the worst animal hospital I have had the unfortunate experience dealing with. The front office staff was pleasant, but once our 4 month old Boxer puppy saw Dr. Lynn for treatment of a Bee sting, she suggested treatment I was uncomfortable with and felt unnecessary raising large and small animals for 54 years. When I stated I felt the treatment was excessive and not warranted, (I was speaking to the Dr. telephonically), she told my daughter whom had taken in our puppy to find another Veterinarian, (after my daughter had waited for 1.5 hours in an unattended exam room) making her feel highly insulted in front of other patients in the waiting room after the exam. I would never recommend this facility to anyone, and pray for those who use them.
Been taking the dog there for awhile. Always friendly and informative. Treat the dog like their own.
